O yes, Rocky & Slick love eachother. :
Here are some more:
And a patch of grass:
And Loren being cute in the house with Tonka.
and a drawing of ??/???
And his new bird, Parado:
Hay New England! I found your snow. It is over hear in the Great North West! Even Galileo thinks it is cold today!! His thermometer is pretty accurate.
See what I left you guys with? Nice of me, hu?
Well, here in Washington, we are having the worst winter EVER!! Well, so I am told. Rain, Rain, go away!!
Enjoy your nice weather back East. We miss you guys!! :
I was waiting for further info on where exactly it was and what time it was and directions. I got partial direction last week, but was told they would get back to me with the rest of the info I needed to be there. I figured it got cancelled or something. What a total bummer!! I am sooo sorry...

Well, Slick and Rocky didn't act much like a team today. I have driven them (Ground driving that is) many many times in New Hampshire together and they went along like old pros. Today it was like "hearding cats".
But I did take a few pictures of them together, before I was drawn and quartered...
I got my first mini on July 4th 2005. Rocky Rocket was the name our 2 y/o son gave him. He is now 3, almost 4. We got our second mini, Monarchs Cherry Bomb AKA Slick, in December 2005. I was 37 years old. So, my son is an early bird to minis and I am a late bloomer to them. :bgrin
I am looking for open horse show clubs that Loren and I can show at next year. Anyone know of any? I also want to show Rocky and he is not registered. Slick is a 'B' so I need to find clubs that we can show them at. We are not real competive, we just like to have fun!! :aktion033:
Thanks...
YEAH!! That would have been nice if you would have sent them, but I was glad to get them any way I could. I (We) have never had year end awards before. :aktion033: I wish I was there to show next year. I will have to find a different circut to show with here in WA I guess.
I am sure you...
Loren got his year end awards from N Bar H in New Hampshire on Saturday. What a great x-mas suprise!! I think they are fro lead line and halter. That is all we did, so they must be for that!
I need a cart before I can do anything. I have my horse before my cart, so to speak.
I never thought of ponying. I guess that would be a good idea. I think my 2 boys would do fine pulling together though. I have hooked them together several times and ground driven them all over the place...
Thank you Margo form that info! :aktion033:
Slick is 35 inches and Rocky is 34. I see no big reason why they could not pull together. I will look into the 4 wheel carts and now you have changed my mind about 2 wheel ones. I would rather have a better balanced vehical for the boys to pull for...
I would like to find a mini cart that can convert from one horse to 2 side by side. Is there such a thing? I want to drive Slick and Rocky together or separate if needed. Is that possible without going tandem? Anyone know where I could look for one?
This is My grandpa Loren in 2003 holding Little Loren at 10 months old. He is trying to reack his cousin Jane who is 3 months older. My dad's wife, Doris, is holding Jane (My brother's daughter)
My grandfather passed away on the 11th. I just got back from Palm Springs a little while ago.
Just...
What Bonnie said is totally true. Although I have never been very sucessful at anything so I can't say first hand, but I have seen others get ripped apart for being "too" good. I wish you all the sucess you want and hope some REAL friends stick by your side no matter what. :
I will do my best to bring back some of this great weather with me.
As fro bringing the bad weather from NH to WA, you are not the first person to blame me for that!!
I am still in Palm Springs CA. The weather here is beautiful beyond words!! BUT, I leave this desert paradise on Monday. I have heard a little bit about terrible weather in Seattle and plains not being able to land. Any one know what the winds/weather will be like by Monday? Do I get to...
Thank you everyone.
My grandfather Loren passed away at 2:00pm today. My father, brother and I along with the doctor talked about taking him off of life support. They did this while my brother Jim stood by next to Grandpa. I went out into the lobby with my father. My father could not handle...
