Thanks SPG...that sounds WONDERFUL~~~I would LOVE watching that as well as trying to take part! lol I wish they had that here! Will have to suggest it to our Irish mini society once we have the halter classes and driving sorted!! Thanks!

Leia, I assume you'll be at some of the Happ's events? If so, be sure to keep me posted as to dates and times. I've been planning to go, and would love to see you and Kody there!
Susanne,

Let me know the dates of the shows and where they are. Even if I do not bring a horse I would love to come meet everyone and visit for a bit! :saludando:

One of these days I want to be able to get Maggie to Happs, am much closer to there now.

Shari,

That would be great to go together...fun when you bring Maggie, but also fun just to watch Leia and Kody and whoever else may be there. I'm ready to go right now, although I'd probably look silly hanging around an empty course...

Oh, Kaykay, you're going to make me bawl. It is so not going to be 'show season' without you here. I know you'll have lots of fun in Ohio though.

Great post, Susanne... the showing is fun, but it's the PEOPLE that make it FANTASTIC. I can't wait to get out and play around in the ring, but most of all, I can't wait for the after classes, or show sitting around bs'ing as Rob puts it. That is the real thrill.

Oh, and all you Ohioans... don't sit next to Kaykay when she has a beer in her hands... don't ask me how I know... just don't do it. :new_shocked:

Yep, you both should definitely come! Clickmini was volunteering at events in 2005 and last I heard

: was supposed to start taking her beautiful Allie this year with Danny to follow when he's old enough. Haven't heard from her in awhile though. I know several lurkers from Lil' Beginnings compete there because last year one of them took one look at Kody and said "You're Hobbyhorse, aren't you!"

Watching Kody and I can be more fun than I think you were anticipating...that little fruitloop is a real handful in the morning. :risa8: He has a serious issue with high-spirited bucking- a kicking strap is high on my list of items to get before spring this year!

Leia: I am hoping to get to Happs on Sunday for the 4 up teams and learn hitching, etc. March 19Th.

Great way too learn the multiple hitches that I have not had access to see.

The Trails arena in Olympia is having an open show that weekend with miniature classes on Saturday night. So dont know if I can make that one too. Minis in their woolies are encouraged. Driving, halter , jumping and obstacle class.

My show wish is to get these guys shaved so I can see how they have bloomed in the last year. The 9 month old filly got the head and neck trimmed and just made me want MORE!

CountryRose, Maureen's trying to con me into going to that too. I wasn't planning to because I'm working that weekend but driving a four-in-hand DOES sound like fun. :bgrin I've got a request in at work for the time off.

That's cool about the open show, I didn't know there were any of those around with mini classes.
