So beautiful! I love both the variety of stitching and the colors. Very delicate, definitely an heirloom piece!
Very nice! Tell us about your new machine!I have completed 3 projects this year; two were well started, almost done before the end of the year, so I just had to quilt those two and I do not have a picture of either of those, yet; the third, I started and finished yesterday and today on my new machine, I did take a pic. so, here's a pic of the table runner I just completed; it's a kit from Connecting Threads.

Janome is a great machine. I upgraded by Singer, given to me as a graduation present in 1971, a few years ago. It works fine, but the motor just wouldn't sew heavy fabrics any more. I got a Pfaff. It can do wizard stuff, but I just use it for regular sewing. The big plus with it is the wonderful button hole maker. I do like to add button holes to some of my crafts and it is fun to use. Kind of like the new phones--it can do a lot more stuff than I am interested in learning. But it sews through multiple layers of fabric easily. I hope I never need to service it as I am 3-4 hours away from a dealer.I upgraded my nearly 50 year old machine that my dad bought my mom in '75 or '76.
I got a Janome mechanical machine, as I'm in the sticks and repair shops are few and far between, I thought another mechanical would be my best option. While all I do is sew quilt tops on it, I still got a heavy duty machine, so if I ever do decide I might repair jeans or jackets, I should be able to.
