I just got what I wanted A Pet at a Pet Price. I am glad there is some selling at prices so if a person wants just a pet they can go and get one. And I did not get this pet at an auction either but a breeder. for a 100 bucks. And now that I have had this little guy a couple of months I have had him in the house already :bgrin And this guy was not even halter broke when I bought him. And I have had 2 Horse show judges look at him Both Like him say he is nice and travels nice and straight and One of these 2 was a carded AMHA and AMHR Judge, And the other judge says I should even show him. Well i won;t but see you can get a fairly good horse at low prices if you know who, what, where, and how, to look.

I agree positive works,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but being positive doesn't make a concern disappear
. Exactly - You don't have to be negative about everything but be REALISTIC at least. Don't mislead people by leaving out important details & pretending everything is hunky dory when it isn't.

Sometimes the negative has to be added, and I think breeding is a good example, we can't let a new person think it's all cute to get a new foal and never inform them of the heartache as well.
Ditto - just like someone told me years ago that a breeder told them they could send their children through college by breeding & selling miniature horses...... After the person was informed of all the factors that were left out of the equation he said he would be best to leave his money in the bank... Some of us have to think & rethink every move that we make otherwise we would go under...... Why should we assume that it is not so with anyone else getting into this business......... I feel accentuating only the positive is misleading but I have been told I tell too much which has lost us a sale or two. So be it! As I say, "If you value money above friendship, what will you have left if you go bankrupt?"
