We've got about 8 inches of snow out there right now. Maybe more. The temps were a tad warmer this morning, so I decided to pull blankets and let their skin breathe for awhile today. Snapped a few pictures before I went to clean stalls. My rescued mare, Sienna, refused to come out of the barn yet again this morning. I think she is cozy in there, so I'll let her be. However, Chip, Sandi, and Rebel were all more than happy to get out and stretch their legs.

I'll be heading out again in about an hour or so, to round them up and bring them in. That way they can dry off, warm up, and get their blankies back on before the temps drop again tonight.

Enjoy!

We HAD sunshine. It just disappeared and the snow is coming down lightly again. Perfect timing as I JUST brought everyone in.

Thanks for the compliments on Keeleigh (pronounced Key-Lee). SHE is a Rottweiler/Golden Retriever cross, three years old come March. I've had her since she was 9 weeks old, a little fuzz ball. She's the canine light of my life. My baby girl. I feel blessed to have such a sweet and gentle girl. The horses are her kids, she's mine. Rebel is her favorite, she was with me the morning he was foaled and they've had a special bond since then. Durning the day, she goes to the door to be let out. One stop along the way to do her business, then straight up to the corrals to see what kind of trouble the minis have gotten into. In the summer months, she will lay out by the fence, chewing a branch, basking in the sun, and keeping a close eye on her little love bugs.

Great pics! We're getting a major dumping here tomorrow...can't wait! I believe we're expected to get two more storms Sunday and Monday, too. It's all good up until Christmas. After that, I'd rather be in California, Mexico, Hawaii...

Everyone looks happy and healthy Erin. All the dogs here are enjoying the snow except for Diego and Jerry Lee go figure. They prefer to lay in garage or house rather than go out and play.

Hi Erin

Very, very nice. We got a foot and a half here in the Skykomish valley. It is the deepest I have ever seen in this area. Very cold, too!

Stay warm down there!
