I saw this on TV early this morning...its a way to totally get rid of your cobwebs and, nothing thats harmful...its all natural.

Take a sprayer and fill it with white vinegar and, coconut oil. You can get the coconut oil from the health food store. mix together and spray away...they say the spiders will not come near it.

The down side would be well....your barn will smell like a giant pickle but, NO COBWEBS!!!!!!!

I am doing it today...I'll let ya know how it works

Also, for people that have mice in their barns...take a cottonball and soak it in peppermint oil...they won't go near the area...like tack or feed rooms. The great thing is its all natural.

Just food for thought

Wow that's pretty cool! I wonder if the coconut smell would alteast somewhat mask the vinegar smell. Well, probubly not but it still sounds great anyway! Thanks for sharing!

This summer I sprayed my stalls with pure white vinegar hoping that it would keep the flies down... The smell does not remain strong at all.........I later mixed some Avon Skin So Soft with the vinegar & the barn smelled nice ..................... Would the rats be attracted to the coconut oil? If so I guess we will have to use the peppermint oil also.

I suspect the coconut oil is to help "hold" the vinegar smell --- anyway

I think the peppermint oil on cotton balls is gonna smell really nice

just don't put it near your horses who like that candy! I would think that just buying some peppermint oil and squirting it along the bottom edge of the inside framework would do nicely. Might just help with other "bugs & flies" too....they are sensitive to various smells.

Thanks for the tips.
