I just started with a trainer a couple weeks ago.

We are a couple weeks from hitching to a cart.

I can't wait! I am really enjoying the training!

Yeah!! so great to see you finally get to drive. Pretty little girl there, you two will make a nice pair.

NOw you can start spring off with a bang and forget the horrible winter problems.

That smile will not go away, believe me. Driving is so much FUN.

They will be so glad to have another driver at Happs too.

Leia, I was down at Happ's on Saturday, got to drive Merridy's Velvet! Also rode on the back of Dave's war wagon, and got a spin through the hazards with Ron Whiteman and Buddy! Too much fun, for sure!!!

I am SO jealous...We didn't get to see a single video (which I was really looking forward to) or ride along on any cones, hazards, nothing like you got to.

I really wanted to ride along and see how other people drive it!

Maybe the Fjords were supposed to do that but one of the team stepped on a large hard chunk of concrete and totally lamed himself on the way to the arena, couldn't even put weight on his left hind leg so no demos from the Fjords that day.

: Poor guy. Driving Merridy's Velvet is a dream of mine but I was busy watching them create a new mini four-in-hand and lost my opportunity. Oh, darn! LOL I am just SOOO underprivileged, having to sit there and take pictures of a brand-spankin' new four-up...::theatrical sigh:: HA! Maybe someday on Velvet.

I did get to drive a pair though, and let me tell you it made me grateful for the way my horse steers. Mack truck...Ferrari. Mack truck...Ferrari. I'm glad I've got the little red sports car! LOL

Keep it up with Miss Ally; you will beat the pants off us in the spring just by being in shape.
