I got my National All-Star letter for AMHR and:

Pyro is #2 in Stallion Foal of Current Year, 30" and Under

and:

#2 Gelding Foal of Current Year Over 30" to 32"!

Two titles in one year! And that's his FIRST year. *LOL*

I was fairly sure he would get something, but had given up as it seemed so late. The letter's dated jan. 3, 2008. Bummer 'cuz I also thought Mouse had something coming.

Just wanted to share!

Congrats, Liz! Guess you should be getting some certificates for him also, since he is in the reserve position.

I was hoping that Alladdin would make top ten, but he somehow got beaten out at the last minute by some others.

Flirty has a couple reserves coming too, although for some reason the computer program dropped those classes off the report.

Thanks, Amy! I didn't know they issued certificates.

Pretty proud of my home-bred redhead. I am hoping we can keep up the good work this next year. Thinking we'll be in the Over division, but who knows for sure. He may be right at or just under the 32" cutoff for yearlings. One thing I KNOW for sure is that is all the stallion points he will get. *LOL*

I had the same thing happen to me with the computer records. I could not find either he nor Mouse on the website, even though I was pretty sure they should be there as there were horses that they had beaten that were on the list. I finally called and they were surprised to find the problem, so maybe it's just a glitch-y year.

Congrats on Flirt!!!

Bummer about Alladdin, not like you two didn't work it.

Got mine too - Holy Cow if that's it I'm dissapointed.

The letter literaly said congratulations in one paragraph and how about taking out an ad in the Journal in the next. I'm sorry but this is the first time I've gotten one of these and I was expecting just a bit more. I mean one letter stating that I/we won would have been ok but to add the bit about oh and I'm sure you'll want to advertise just makes it somehow ?cheaper!

Would it be too much to ask that they print off a just a letterhead for this or a "certificate" style letter; without the advertising shtick?

edited to add: didn't mean to highjack your thread --Congratulations, Liz.

Well now I feel silly about the thread I just started! *LOL* That'll teach me to refresh the topic list before posting another one. Still, I'm proud of Pyro and double-proud that he had another title hiding in the Over division I forgot to go look for. I can't believe Kody won something! I mean heck, we only went to two shows. I guess there must not be too many people showing in the Amateur Obstacle Driving, Under.

How are the points calculated for these things, anyway? I've never paid attention before.

Maybe if I stop touching Kody and getting us disqualified we can get something in Liberty next year! *LOL*

Ha ha, Kim, well, he has a filly with one, too. Lark got it the year she was a weanie, too, and I THINK she got some for her yearling year...have to go look, though. Again, these are only with two shows. Falcon SHOULD be proud, and he should gift us with a few more gorgeous babies.

Thank you, Kim, for allowing us access to Falcon as a sire.

Thank you, Robin....I am sending silver stars your way, just so ya know....

CONGRATS to you...it says a LOT about you to do well with the young ones. I see so many that don't handle being in the ring well with being naughty or short attention spans, etc. I love to watch the little stars that are well mannered and attentive and obviously you have one -- beyond the manners, what a looker too!!

WAY TO GO LIZ!! CONGRATULATIONS!

We understand how much effort goes into accomplishing these achievements!
