Anyone had any trouble w/ Double Diamond shipments?

Hi,

I made an order several weeks ago(Oct 16), got the order confirmation email that they had recieved it. . . .nothing since.

I have emailed several times. . . no response.

I even called twice and a lady said she would have someone look into it. . .nothing.

Now the discount offer has expired. . .

Just wondering if anyone has had trouble, too. Or know why they are not responding.

I haven't placed an order, and for a reason--they are not good at replying to e-mail questions--or at least not to mine. I sent a query about an item the other day & got the "reply will take 12-24 hours" message. Well, it's been a lot longer than 24 hours & I still haven't received any answer to my question.

The last time I queried about something it took a long time to get an answer--had they answered immediately I would have bought there because they had the best price for the item I wanted. But, I needed the item shipped immediately to a US address so that it would be at its destination by the day my shipper picked up my pony--she was going to pick up the pony and a couple items I'd ordered elsewhere--I had to think that if an e-mail response was that slow in coming, how could I count on their getting an actual shipment sent off in time for my shipper to pick it up with my pony? So, I ordered the item elsewhere--paid more $$ for it but had no worries about it being delivered promptly (which is was).
 
My experience has always been GREAT! I have always called and placed my order by phone .... no particular reason for that other than I may have had a question, but have ordered blankets, etc .... have had awesome service, received my order in 2 days and they honored discounts. Very friendly, helpful folks to deal with so they must have something going on ...... keep trying!

a quick edit to add that it's been a little while since I have placed an order but I was impressed with them when I dealt with them and am surprised to hear that things may have changed since then!

Nope, I have never had any trouble with them at all - I love buying from them! I was looking at some neat possible secret santa gifts there last night ....
 
I bought 2 show halters last yr and had no issues with shipment. They took care of me in a very reasonabley timed fashion.
 
I would give them a call. The couple issues I had was resolved fairly quickly. So I would buy from them again.
 
I have ordered a lot from them... sometimes they are late , but always come through, just send an e-mail and give( I think Dave ), a call. I can find out his name for you. Only thing I was not happy with is that the items shipped come looking like they were folded up like origami... not too good for a show halter...

I think you will get everything , just give a call.
 
I've ordered from them before and had no trouble. However, I'm like Kaprikorn, I ordered something that was on sale, received my verification, but haven't heard a thing. I'll have to check my bank to see if they were paid, then I guess I need to call. I fairly sure that they will honor the sale price.

I had the same problem. I ordered, received the order confirmation and a month went by with no response. I emailed numerous times with no response. I called but the number was disconnected. I checked my bank and there were no charges on my card. I assumed they never actually received my order . After one month I received a call saying one of my items was on back order would I like a replacement or cancel the order. I opted for a replacement, they charged my card and I still recieved the sale price from the prior month. It was irritating but I did receive my product. Not sure I will ever order again though.
 
I ordered a bit from them a while back. Everyone was out of the office at a auction and the girl who answered my call somehow sent me the wrong bit- I used it anyway thinking it was the right one and it was well we called it the bit of death

Anyway Raven brought it back with her to Nationals (now about 4 months later after the purchase) explained the issue and that it was the wrong one and they promptly returned money to her right there on the spot. I can not complain about that type of customer service. I was able to have raven go buy me the bit I wanted from another vendor as DD didnt carry it
 
My orders have always been shipped out quickly from them. However, I ordered 2 sheets and a foal blanket, for a new foal I was purchasing, from them and didnt hear or get anything for weeks. I think it took over a month to recieve anything. By then, I no longer needed the foal blanket, as the foal had been sent back to the breeder due paperwork being a mess. I have never have a problem with DD until that past order. Because it took so long with no replies to inquires on my order, I now look elsewhere before purchasing.

Never had any problems with them, what so ever. We have bought large amounts of tack from them, we could not beat the prices on most of the stuff.

I know they were in Texas for a sale (Texas Hold Em Sale) and just got home last week so that may be the problem. they also lost one of their key employees I understand. I would give Garry or Jana a call they are the owners of the business.
