Hi!

I have a mare consigned to the Hoosier Miniature Breeders Classic Sale. VERY beautiful!

Kahoka Sorrel April. They will have her pictures up before long! I have seen a few other Kahoka bred horses, and I think theyr all nice!

Well here's a picture of my boy... Bears Hi Fi. His sire is Kahoka Palomino James.

And here's a really bad headshot of him...you can see how tiny and gorgeous his ears are though and you can see how much of a spitfire he is!

He is such an amazing little guy-all 29.5" of him! He throws really small foals for us and we've sold a bunch of his foals to show homes. His foals are probably some of the most refined we've ever had... and super leggy! I'll attach a picture of a daughter and a son of his.

You should contact Judith Kurth from Alameda if you really want some good information on the Kahoka horses and pictures. She now owns one or two of the herd sires from there and I'm pretty sure she has a few Kahoka mares as well. Here's the website but it's not updated so you should send her an e-mail or call. She is a very nice lady to talk to! Alameda-farm.com

Hi-

We have owned a couple Kahoka horses in the past. Kenny Chrisman was/is a very good friend of our family. He bred absolutely beautiful horses.

If you never met him, the man is a character!!!! My dad asked him one time about castrating stallions. Kenny said he did it himself, put them on the ground, no anesthesia, and used a really sharp knife to do the job then poured alcohol on the open wound. Dad said, "doesn't that hurt?" (meaning hurt the horse) Kenny said not if you don't have any cuts on your hands!! :DOH! Kenny was the epitome of the "old Missouri farmer" but he was a good guy.
