computers that he built. He is going to clean them off and put Kubuntu on them or offer it w/them. He's going to throw them away if noone takes them. His neighborhood is having a yard sale (he's in West Chester) and he's going to put them out for free. He doesn't have monitors for all of them, but he's going to try to make five complete systems.

These are nice computers as in they didn't come with the bundled software you get when you buy a "brand name" computer, and so you can customize them yourself.

All the ones he's built for me are still running strong, there are five of them here that are testament to his skills (oh and the components are generally nice quality and easily upgradeable).

Just thought I'd give a heads up as we both hate to see them go to waste.

If they don't sell at the garage sale, I'll take them if he is going to throw them out. I really don't need one but. I am about 45 minutes from West Chester, what a small world.

How would we contact him? My daughter would be thrilled.

: She is a Mom of three girls. They do have an old computer that takes a lot of time to just get it to start up. The girls will often come to my place to look up things for school work. My other daughter lives near Lancaster, is that far from West Chester?

His email is [email protected]

You can contact him privately if you would like. He said he would hang onto them for anyone, and the sale is Saturday.

He just hates to see them go to a landfill.

Liz
