Here is Wauk A Way Joanne her very first time out and just halter broke 8 days earlier. Talk about pulling them out of the pasture LOL. She still needs weight but we threw her out there anyway. She got Reserve Jr Champion Classic Mare. I so love the neck on this mare. Shes just a yearling

Kay, they are STUNNING!!!! If you wouldn't mind, would you explain to me a bit about your horses? Are they Shetlands? Shetland/Mini crosses? They are GORGEOUS!!!!!

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me as we do all of our own training, showing etc

Joanne is an ASPC Classic mare. Shes only 37.5" even though she looks so tall in that pic. She is all legs!! So she shows Classic under. Not sure if shes done growing or not. If she stays 38 or under we will hardship her B division mini. Hard to tell on ponies as a lot get all their growth as a yearling but some dont. Her dam is very small

Promise is ASPC/AMHR registered and we show her as over division mini but shes only 36 on the nose as a 2 year old. We are going to show her foundation at congress as she has the foundation seal has a pony

Jim is ASPC/AMHR and is a yearling gelding. He was 34" on the nose. He got a little bloated at the show eating shavings but looks awesome! He is out of star who is getting ready to foal again. Im hoping for a filly just like Jim! Jim also has the foundation seal on his pony papers

Thanks so much for taking the time to look

How the heck did you get Joanne ready to show so quickly? You are miracle workers over there.

I am going to look for that video you did on teaching horses to set up.

Kay--you've worked hard and made tough choices (selling some were hard) to improve your program--and man oh man it's just going to keep paying off.

Karla thanks so much!! Honestly my favorite part of owning horses is training them so to me thats a labor of love. I have found once I gain a horses trust they will pretty much do what is asked of them. I am fine tuning Joanne a bit so she will bring her front legs forward but for a first show I think she did amazing! I am now working on KC and she is really coming a long. I may show KC over classic and Joanne under classic at the Area 4 show.
