Best online source for Mini tack and supplies?

Hi Everyone!

I have had my first mini for a little over a month now. I ADORE her! I was doing some online searching for a good and inexpensive mini horse tack and supply store. I am not into showing or anything fancy yet. I would like to get her a new halter, a turnout sheet, and some training supplies so I can start teaching her to drive. I just wanted to know what sites the experienced mini owners liked to shop from. There is very little selection at any of the tack stores near by. Thank you so much!!

I would like to get her [snip] some training supplies so I can start teaching her to drive.

I am in the process of switching from "big" horses to Miniature Horses and I had to buy everything again in Miniature. I just finished shopping for most of my training items and the best prices that I found for a nylon surcingle, a nylon crupper, a nylon lunge cavesson, nylon side reins, and nylon driving/long lines to match (which makes a simple bitting rig) was at Double TT Tack. I recommend them; great service and fast shipping. I have ordered several things from Mini Express and I recommend them as well. I hear a lot of great things about Ozark Mountain, they look like they have superior (quality) products (and a harness from them is on my wishlist

I really like Ozark Mountain.

I have purchased quite a few items from them including a good show harness. The harness is gorgeous.

They are very helpful, ship immediately, and have top of the line merchandise. They will help you figure out sizes and go the extra mile. Nice people to deal with.

I really liked Double Diamond tack a lot, but use Star Lake and Ozark a lot too.

Herron Stables offers some great miniature & pony tack. I got to chat with them at Congress and they are GREAT people

I am planning to order several blankets from Radon (http://www.radoninc.com/) sometime soon too as I loved their quality at Congress.

Oh Leeana you will LOVE RaDon's blankets!!! They wear like iron and they fit great! I love that they are cutback at the withers, so they never rub manes out or irritate their withers.

GREAT quality, well worth the little extra $$$ to purchase. Their sweats are nice too. Well, everything they have is nice.

Double Diamond-- nice selection- very reasonable prices-- they carry just about everything a mini could need-- they also have wonderful show carts-- after being a loyal Jerald owner for years=- i took a chance and bought a Double Diamond show cart at the AMHA World last year--- It is wonderful- well balanced- well built and beautiful in the ring-- we are having another one delivered to AMHA World... Im very pleased!!!

As well as Ozark Mountian, Starlake & Double Diamond, I really like KayJay Miniature Horse Tack. Mellisa went the extra mile and had a "convertable" bridle made for me that I just love. She also gives a discount for forum members

What great suggestions! I am going to have a hard time choosing where to shop, all the sites look so fun! I live just south of Tallahassee. There is one nice tack store near by, the ownwer usually carries some cute mini halters, but I am not sure what other mini supplies she has. Thanks again for all of the suggestions, I really appreciate it! I'll have to post pics of little Sweet Tart once she is all outfitted in her new stuff!
