I am usually too upset to post about a loss
but I tried to go to sleep and just can't sleep
and I thought it might help
We had 2 mares overdue 360 and 355
the mare at 360 went into labor tonight
it was a hiplock from what I can tell and we finally managed to get the
filly out but lost her before we could.
RIP our little angel filly

On a brighter note:
Our mare due 6/6/09 surprised Art this morning when he went out to feed
with an already dry and nursing
Silver Buckskin pinto filly!!!!
With 3 white stockings and 1 white sock
A&lm’s Rompin Codys Chera Pooh x Triple Ks Boogies Bowtie (homozygous for black)
I knew Pooh could carry silver since her sire was a silver dapple nice surprise to find out she does.
We did not have her under camera yet we can only cover 2 stalls
I was just gonna test her tonight to see if she was getting close.
So glad there were no problems we got lucky this time.
Here are a few not the best pics from my cell phone didn’t get the batteries charged on my camera
It was a beautiful day here and they got to be outside for quite a few hours
