Blue Eye info

I am looking at a couple of minis that have a blue eye What sort of problems do they have? Should I avoid it? Can you please give me info

Blue eyes in horses are like blue eyes in humans - there's no concerns based on the colour of the eye.

If they have pink skin around their eye (which isn't uncommon in blue eyed horses) then there are some concerns with sensitivity, sunburn and potentially cancer.

About half of our minis have blue eyes but none have pink skin around them. Lots of people LOVE blue eyed minis, especially the ones with dark faces and/or eyeliner.

I have two blue eyed minis and have never had any eye problems of any sort. They are just as 'sturdy' visually as the brown eyed minis. One of the blue eyed minis is over twenty and has done it all - even won a HOF
