I'm looking for new recipies for a blueberry pie. What do you use to make your's special?

I have one that is not exactly a pie, but close and SOOOO good! You can use any kind of pie filling... It's so simple, but so good:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 box of yellow cake mix (or one of those little "JIffy" brand cake mixes)
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 can of pie filling (for a blueberry version you can even add additional fresh blueberries, if you want, and it turns out great!)
Steps:

  1. Pre-heat Oven to 350 Degrees
  2. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray (ie, Pam)
  3. Pour the pie filling into the dish
  4. Sprinkle / spread the dry cake mix on top
  5. Pour the melted stick of butter over the cake mix, or cut butter into small pats and arrange on top of the dry cake mix
  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees

This is easily doubled using a full cake mix, 2 cans of pie filling, and 2 sticks of butter... Really good with apple filling and raisins!
