I've never had one go THIS long before!! Re-reading all the "what to do incase of emergency" stuff and I guess that's not helping my anxiety any! :no:

She's not a maiden mare, this is her 5th in fact. She's averaged about 335-340 in the past.

Should this prolonged gestation be casue for concern?

I was worried like you last week. My mare went 351 days when I believe she had been 315 with her first one two years ago.

We have had the weather warm up since he was born healthy on Sat. nite. So maybe they are waiting for spring?

I foaled a mare out for my friend and she went 366 days before foaling with her 2nd foal.

Our 2 mares that foaled last year went 359 and 360 days. One was maiden and one was her 3rd.

Have a friends mare that goes 12 months on the nose. Always has a healthy foal.

If you get really worried you could have a Vet out "that you trust" to come take a look at her.
