Just reserved a nonfiction book, titled Running with Sherman, by Christopher McDougall. My wait time is two weeks but it sounds interesting and uplifting. I like uplifting! 
It is a modern story about a family that adopted a rescue donkey, Sherman, and eventually they ran a very tough human and donkey race. I believe it is a marathon where you run leading your donkey.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will look for it. I just learned about pack mule and burro races in Colorado this year. So many races different races are offered. I have enjoyed watching the videos
