I think there's a very sad and lonely woman running the site who is so unhappy with herself that she takes comfort in being nasty towards others and their property.

I saw this earlier and was wondering when/if anyone was going to post. I've been reading their nasty comments and it seems like they WANT a "mini person" to try to defend themselves or their dwarves. Not gonna do it.

Ditto what Jill said. I visited that site once & I won't go back. The gal gets carried away with her own importance & the swearing, name calling and general belittling she indulges in doesn't paint a favorable picture of her.

You know, I recognize some of those pics. I seriously doubt that Pete Goettel gave permission for that photo to be used of him (granted it had a positive spin on it). But, I know I've seen that foal pic some where!

I have to say the site does make me laugh from time to time, but she's had her opinion handed right back to her a few times, the lustiano thread is one.

I think that Alot of what she has to say about more then a few 'breeders' of any horse, esp minis, is dead on. Do I apperciate and think she's correct in all things. No! And it's taking all I got to Not go and feed her flames. BTW, every time you link here to there, you give her More hits and More attention....

I used to have a certain level of interest and maybe even respect for that blog, as a lot of the things that were posted made sense. But she's made such a SWEEPING assumption of Mini Horses and people who own or breed them.

Needless to say she's lost a reader.

It makes me sad to see something like that written and yet I know there is some truth to it. I just hope that any person who loves the breed will see that a better perspective is given of our little horses. What is a person suppose to do when they see feet not taken care of or the horses mistreated with oversized children on them. How do we stop the snarky remarks about them being nothing more than animals to breed when we know and talk about such things here on LB? I think there is some truth in breeders not being concerned about producing dwarfs because they do think they are cute. To each his own, but lets all try even harder to have our minis always looking their best. A groomed, well taken care of mini, with feet trimmed is something any mini owner should provide ....lets put our best foot forward with our minis so horrible things aren't said about them. You have to give some credit to the person for knowing a good one from a not so good one. Anyone who is not presenting their minis to its full advantage should try much harder. JMHO Mary
