Another precocious little Cowboy baby! They are up and nursing in an hour! Thought we were going to get to go back to bed, when Mooney started giving signs!

Haven't measured any body, but Mooney's boy looks to be very small...and perfectly proportioned. this is Mooney's first foal.....was a bit of a hair raiser with one f4ront leg back somewhere and she was tight. We had a nose and one leg presenting.....I couldn't get in far enough to find the other leg....Mooney was pushing hard...after about 6 minutes I told Frank to call Dr Dave as we were making NO progress! Frank left to open the gates, I got Mooney to stand up, she turned around and when she laid back down it was on her other side and like magic that other leg appeared! And he was here!

One hour sleep last night....I'm GROUCHY! :bgrin
