Hes a cutie though. I **THINK** he is a silver dapple.. Please someone correct me if Im wrong. Im AWFUL at colors. Dont know how he is silver dapple, his mom is a sorrel(??) frame overo, dad is supposed to be a gray frame overo..I bought her bred so I am **SO** glad he is OK...In fact he has very little color. A nice wide jagged blaze and a few short socks. He will be for sale at weaning.

Congratulations, on your foal. The daddy of that foal< as I own him, is a black , gone grey, loud frame sabino overo. I bought him already grey, but had some foal pics, and he was most definatly a true frame, black horse.

Your foals dam, risque remark, is a red, ee , sabino overo carrying silver.

She has thrown several different silver foals, some out of non silver stallions.

Your mares sire, THE Oh Cisco, is a loud black frame sabino overo ( so your mare also carries one copy of black), and the foal got a copy from mom and dad, and in my opinion, is a silver black sabino.

He is a georgeous colt, and very refined. CONGRATULATIONS.

Sorry, but the mare cannot carry black, as she would BE some form of black (black, bay, etc). The mare carries silver and red, but that is it as far as color goes. Black cannot hide, except in the case of some maximum white pintos.
