Well, Erica has certainly been making a lot of people very horse happy again this spring, myself included!!! Erica has agreed to let me call her beautiful Big City double dilute filly, Erica's Big City Bomb Shell, my own!!!
"Bomb Shell" is a daughter of Erica's gorgeous stallion, Little Kings Big City Buck (see him), making her a granddaughter of BUCKEROO and double dilute to boot!!! She is a daughter of Erica's mare, World of Miniature's Infinity (see her). Infinity is also the dam of my own Erica's Double Dipped, a perlino pinto mare, who will come to me later this year in foal to Big City for a 2008 dilute, double bred Buckeroo foal. Then, also, Bomb Shell is a full sister to Erica's Shez Buckn' Awesome (see her), who is my favorite filly from anywhere of 2006.
This is a dream come true to have a Big City daughter and in "my" color as I do love double dilutes and especially perlino. Many if not most of you know that a double dilute horse such as Bomb Shell will only produce other cream dilute (buckskin, palomino, smokey cream, perlino, cremello, and smokey black) offspring. This is one reason why I love them so much!
I can honestly say, I wanted Bomb Shell before she was even born. I'd told Erica a long time ago if she offered a dilute Big City filly for sale to please let me know. This is just a dream come true to get another Erica horse and for her to be a Buckeroo granddaughter and a perlino.
