I delivered a horse to the AR/TN border and the people's daughter & grandson (5 months) came with them to meet me. We stood around and jawed for 2 hours and I got to hold the baby for the first 1 1/2 hours! He was smiling, knawing on my clothes & fingers, playing in my hair, saying Da-Da and just generally making all my baby wanting go nuts~LOL He was ADORABLE....I want one....waahhhhhhhh

Steve got to see me with a baby for the first time the weekend of Dana's Dad's memorial service. Some friends (who also have a 5 month old little boy), stayed overnight with Dana's family. Steve stayed to visit that evening and even held James when I took Mia back to the bedrooms to get her to sleep for the night. Nikki (the Mom) walked over and told Steve he needed to practice and plopped James down in his lap

. Both of them survived the experience and Steve held him for QUITE a while

I got to snuggle baby James for two days...I was in heaven. Mia LOVES babies and had a wonderful time helping to take care of him and playing with him

LOL, he's way beyond scared! I am *so* nesting!! I told him after we had been together just a few weeks that I definitely wanted another baby

I'm 36 now (and he's 43!), so I'm not willing to wait tooo much longer

These eggs aren't getting any fresher!

The poor man has been very pale from time to time while talking about it <g> He's such a bachelor

But, he's also head over heels for Mia and she and all of his friends' kids love him too

LoL Laura & Rabbit,

You just reminded me of a phrase that my father and his brother came up with for women who are either moving in on you/your house, or looking for future kids. They call it "Twigging"

Hence a toothbrush/cloths item here, or a baby toy/bottle there... starting it off slow, then Whamo, before the men know it, your in one way or another. I have become very fond of the phrase and use it often; Mostly on my fathers rotating door policy of girl friends! (Evil chuckle)

Babies!!! Horsey babies, yes....human...
no.gif
Course, guess its a good thing there are folks who like the human kind, if it was up to my linage, world population would go WAY down!

I am one, I had one, and she had one
