Whomever held the filly fairy up, bad bad bad!! But we're HAPPY with our HAPPY colt! This TALL guy came into the world sometime around 1am and I found him at 2am, glowing in the full moonlight! We're still working on a name, so any help would be appreciated (Happy Hooligan x Sweet Sue). He's a black tobiano with 1 blue eye (must come from Sue) and we've already decided that Happy was responsible for the rear end as I've been kicked three times by the little turd already! He's big and STRONG, but needs some time to unfold a bit.
He's potentially the total package for someone looking for conformation, color, pedigree (4 Congress/World Champions, 2 Superiors, and Pony of the Year - 4 HOFs on paper), as well as the foundation seal. Another interesting note, his dam is a full sister to Jazzy Blues dam, owned by Lisa and Mike Strassle. So, this guy is a "cousin" to Frank! He's got ink spots as well, so I'm pretty sure he's homozygous for tobiano (last year's filly out of the same mare is). We'll test him if someone buys him (for Black - Happy is Homozygous and Silver too ) before Jan. 1st, if not, he'll be gelded.
