Well, this week I have been taking a holiday

: no rest for the wicked I guess. We are running the first of two mini shows that are held at our place each year and I thought.....plenty of time.......lol So all plans go out of the window when my favourite mare decides that she MIGHT foal this week too. That meant four sleepless nights waiting for it to put in an appearance. Finally, at 5.30 am yesterday she delivered a healthy palomino colt. Well worth the lack of sleep as he is a grandson of Del's Cowboy and looks as though he is going to have the same awesome colour. OK now we can go back to prepping for the show, looks as though it is going to be the biggest one we have run so far, entries are well up

so......... no more sleep for the next couple of days :bgrin . Sure it will be worth it.
