Jules, if I knew how to quit snacking....LOL

I hate that I gained 100 lbs from quitting.

But I'm still awesome!

Donna, you CAN do it! I'm here to be your cheerleader! Keep it up!

Hubby "chewed" for nearly 40 yrs and he quit too! We both did because the cost went WAY up. But that was just a good "push" to get it done!

What a great idea MA! Celebrate! Karrel and I both deserve it!

Thank you all! I have never been tempted to start again and I doubt I ever do. It doesn't bother me to see people smoking around me. But if I'm in a room with smoke, I do feel sick for a day or so. That is strange to me!

Robin,

I celebrated my 5 year anniversary smoke free on Sept 1st, 2009! Good for you girlfriend! I have never felt better and am so happy that I do not smoke anymore!

Way to go, Robin! I was a two-packer also, and just quit one day. I must say I was a bit on the witchy side for a while, but I think I got over it. LOL I have been smoke free now for 24 years on Jan 1.

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big congrats to you!!! You have done yourself a big favor!!! YEAH!!

Way to go.Good for you.I am a former smoker and was doing 2 packs a day and quit in 1982.Now I can't believe I smoked for 25 years before stopping.I wish I had all that money I just burned up.I could buy some really nice Minis. You should be very proud of yourself.I must confess-I am one of the holier than thou types about smoking.I can't stand the smell today. Now if I could just control my eating addiction.I know that I have an addictive type personality. This eating thing has me constantly challenged.Glad you did something really nice and good for yourself. You should be VERY proud of yourself.

THANK YOU!!!

I AM very proud of myself! I never wanted to try, cuz I was sure I'd fail. Then I realized that if I never tried, I HAD already failed. But just trying, (even if I didn't make it) was not a failure.

People telling me to quit held me back for years! If I was going to try, it would be for me, not because they nagged me into it. LOL

All who have quit....CONGRATS!!!

Congratulations! You added years to your life by quitting! We're very proud of you.
