My next door neighbor (apts) plays their Latino music really loud sometimes and my puter is at the shared wall, so I hear it thru the walls...which is annoying! :ugh:

Soo.....I am playing my PINK CD really loud with speakers facing their wall....I know...immature, but....GRRRRRR......

Hey, I like Fergie...lol :bgrin

I use to do this with my sister. She and I shared a wall, and I would usually have my music on, which she dosn't like, so she would turn hers on louder than mine, and so on. It sometimes resulted to a fight on the landing.

Note to anyone buy speakers, buy ones with very good volume! :bgrin

Although that sounds like harmless fun at first, I just wanted to point out a couple things. I feel bad for the other people being disturbed by this loud music. Also, please remember that once you damage the little nerve hair things in your ears, they don't heal. In other words, playing your music loud like that will lead to permanent hearing loss. Just some food for thought.

My 19 year old brother already has some hearing loss from listening to his headphones on high volume for so many years now.

..however, I am entirely guilty of cranking up the volume in my car with the windows down to combat the loud THUMP THUMP rap cruiser guys. I usually listen to rock, but for that I usually play Japanese pop music or something with bagpipes.

Well ahead of you!!

My neighbour would come in at 1.AM and start playing his music- all I could hear was the bass.

Went on til 3.AM when he went to bed.

I got well fed up he did not answer the phone, he did not come to the door when I went round to complain so I waited till he finally went to bed (after a month of broken sleep) and then put my "ghetto blaster" up against his wall , put in repeat, and blasted him with my friend learning to play the organ- it was EXCRUCIATING.

Then I got in the van and went out.

It only took once he behaves himself now!!!

Too late for that...after many years as a teenanger, going to concerts and being right next to the band's speakers)...I KNOW I have hearing loss. I am constantly saying "huh?" to people in loud places (where it affects me the most).

I am sure the rest of the neighbors loved the latin mix of all the latest Pink songs

I did that... when I was about 10. I'm sure the other neighbors just LOVED it!
