Hello everyone,

I am a new member and would like to show off my pictures also. I have been reading this site for a few months and would like to thank everyone for all the helpful information. I only have 1 mini currently and he will have to be alone until I can buy a larger piece of property. He is a 2-year-old 33" gelding. I plan to cart-train him next year. Can anyone tell me what is a good age to start? This picture was taken last summer when I got him. He is a lot fuzzier and a little chubbier now.

Many people start teaching them voice commands (whoa!) ground manners, and long reining at 2 years old so they have a good start into it for when they're 3 yrs old.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm from northern California. I am so jealous of everyone's baby pictures, but I don't know how you all do it. I am a worrier and it would drive me nuts waiting and wondering.

I'm from CA too! King City, but I lived in Fort Bragg quite a bit! My hubby is from Redding!

Me too! I'm a huge worrier and it DOES drive me nuts!

I am not a trainer, but I would suggest ground driving after conquering voice commands.Good luck with your boy.
