Doing happy dances with the horses! Although it's only sprinkling, we'll take it! Means it's not hot and windy. I talked to my BIL in Poway (San Diego) and he said it's overcast and "looks like it wants to rain". Let's hope it does down there; at least enough to put out the rest of the fires.
 
Just light rain, no mudslides please!!
 
Here in Australia, a light rain during a bushfire could be one of the worst things to happen. My hubby is a volunteer fire fighter and has had to deal with these kind of situations.

It just makes the fire tracks (dirt) muddy and slippery for the fire trucks, slowing them down. The sprinkling of rain doesn't put out fires.

I'm hoping everyone over there stays safe, as we here in Australia, approach our own fire season.
