Hi, I'm researching my stallion and can't find info about his relations or where he was bred. He is a 1994 model. Is Jackpot Farms still in existence?

Anyone heard of Pates Golden Autumn or JPF Makin Majic?

Thanks,

Amber in MO

JPF is Johnsons Pony Farm in MN is about all I can tell you. When I looked at the stud book neither horse had any information listed, just their name which I found odd. 'O I guess it did give their birthdate...if you believe both horses were born in 1900.

Well I guess his previous owner was mistaken. Well, the stallion I have is JPF Zumart AMHA #A 65017. He is also AMHR #83989A and name Bare Hoof Zumart. I guess he couldn't have his original name with the AMHR that he has with AMHA. Odd. Supposedly he has some offspring somewhere. I'm just trying to find out what he comes from to see his weakness and strengthes before breeding him extensively.

Thanks,

Amber

Well I just looked at his papers and the original owner is Jack Wilcoxen of Jackpot Farms.

I see JPF is registered with AMHR and as they use it I assume that JPF is Johnson Pony Farm BUT I would bet that in AMHA JPF stands for Jackpot Farms.

Sorry about that, gets confusing sometimes with who has what prefix in what registry.

In AMHA "JPF" does stand for JackPot Farms. My stallions sire is JPF Jimmy Dolittle. Shortpig (Marie) owns "Jimmy" and I'm sure would love to answer any questions you might have.
