"Cart Before The Corpse" by Carolyn Mc Sperron

I have to go order this from Amazon. I'm excited! Hopefully it gets here pretty quick.

Me too! I'm going to get it hard copy - my mom reads a lot of cozy mysteries, I think she'll like this one too!

Kindle version only $1.99. I haven't finished 77 Shadow Street yet...so much going on right now, I hope you keep the discussion thread open for it a couple more weeks.

OMG! I was afraid I'd be sitting this one out but I just checked Audible and spent a credit on the book!!! Woohoo!!! I only do audio books when it comes to pleasure reading and am so happy that this one is on audio!

I love that Robin! Thanks! Maybe we should start a topic for all the great book qoutes/pictures just like this. I have a few collected that I really like, and I love when others share them too.

I couldn't sleep last night and stayed up ALL night reading. I finished the book I was on, then started and finished The Cart Before The Corpse! I did turn the narration speed up, but I enjoyed the book a lot. Really liked the main and supporting characters and of course loved the references to driving, tack, horses!!! If this becomes a series, I will for sure buy the other books, too

I haven't gotten mine yet! And I just finished the book I was on. Guess I'll have to start another book until my copy gets here.

Oh my goodness, Jill is finished! I haven't even got my nook activated, Dang holidays have put me behind, not to metion people wanting to see the little horses. I've got someone coming tomorrow from Tiawon! Maybe didn't spell that correctly, but one of those countries over there where they have never seen little horses before. Last summer it was someone from China, anyhow they don't have little horses over that away and are somewhat of a novelty. No, they never buy, just look, oooh and aww. That is why I spend a fortune on insurance, shame, but whatever if it makes the DC dignataries happy. If I didn't have dial up maybe I could upload the spell check and stop embarassing myself. I did go to town today and looked in Walmart for this book, but they didn't have it or much of anything since Christmas. Oh well.

Well, thanks to my crazy vehicle.... I have not gotten out to buy the book, yet... My car broke down a couple times on me the last few weeks, so between the repair bills and not having a car that ran... I missed out (so far) on the new book, it sounds like a really great book! Hoping maybe I can still get out and get the book. I just got my car back a few days ago (from the mechanic) and it "seems" to be running OK (fingers crossed).

If you get the free Kindle software for your computer, you can buy the Kindle version for $1.99 and have it within minutes.

Yay!!! I got my copy in the mail today (that is a really BIG book! Not long, just tall). I can't start it yet though because I'm in the middle of reading Paul Young's 'The Shack', and it is taking me forever!

Hopefully soon....

Sara, does it have illustrations in it?

I don't have a Kindle (or a Nook), no e-readers. I'm still one of those die-hard must-have-a-real-book-only types....Ha. I'll check it out at our library, or see if our bookstore here has it. I can't wait to start reading, glad to see that I am not the only one who is starting it late.

I'll be starting this book tomorrow!!! I just finished The Shack a few minutes ago, and now it's time for bed. :/ I can't wait to read the replies on the book discussion thread (I've been avoiding it so I don't read spoilers) and add my own thoughts. By the sounds of it, it's a fast read?
