Here are a few pics we took of the boys at the clinic yesterday...

Jet (he was not too enthused by this point and just wanted to go home, but he did show off in Liberty...lol)

Portia kalinka was our clinic instructor and she had a lot of information and good advice for people! Plus, she gushed over Khan which made me feel good!

Looks like a wonderful time! The boys look great. I still am a Guiness fan!!!

I really wish Portia had been at the NWMHC schooling clinic the weekend before; I could have used some of her tips on halter! Can you share some things that you learned?

Your boys all look great.

Leia...Unfortunately, her focus wasn't really on halter, even tho we had halter classes. Basically, she just compared different types of horses and gave some individual critique...like the only thing she said to me was that "he would've showed better if he had shown ears" lol

She had a wealth of information on driving classes, tho.

AWFUL picutre of Guiness and I...LOL

The clinic was a blast though. Portia did have alot of advice for the driving horses. Personally she told me that she wasn't fond of Guiness' hip (which I'm not either) and there isn't alot you can do about that. He also needed a little more weight/muscle along his top line. He is only 2yrs so that will just take time and conditioning. Also he tends to over stretch a bit, which is natural for his "shetland" self. In liberty he gave him a 64 out of 100. She wanted to see a bit more tail flagging and not as much chasing (he was awful interested in the exit gate haha).

Darrell Smith of Casino Gold (our hosts) just loved him. Wanted to spraypaint appy spots on tho

Joanne Anderson of Gold Vision thought he was very nice as well, gave him some advice to help him build his poll/neck muscles. Mark Bullington gave me kudos on all the new additions to my herd

Everyone was just great and so friendly. Can't wait for the next one... hint hint

Heh, sounds like she probably would have said the same things about Turbo. That boy's hip drives me almost as nuts as Kody's and he is SO downhill!

The only thing that redeems him is once he starts moving he really sits down on that rear end and moves uphill, which is what really matters. It's too bad I can't stretch him though, it would help a lot with that rump.

Thanks for the tips guys!

Everybody looks great -- it's ridiculous that I have yet to see any of these boys in person!
