Hello,

We would like to rescue a mini horse in southern Idaho...having trouble finding one. Do not have the ability to transport, so needs to be local. (For future vet trips, we have two vets VERY close and will eventually retro fit our small flat bed trailer to work for short trips.) Hubby prefers adoption fee to be around $200 because he knows a new family member means supplies (I am a pet supply junky). We have 5 acres, a nice barn and I can provide references. We have a whole slew of critters who are my life, no kids. Ideally I would like 2, but have small goats for company for now. REALLY prefer a female (we just like girl critters better), but would consider a gelding if no girls are to be found. And a pinto or appy would be a plus, but that's probably hoping for too much, too soon. I hope I can find one in need, that is how we get most of our critters.

We are in Meridian, Idaho, right on the Nampa "border".

You can go onto Chances Mini Horse Rescue's website. Their site is www.chancesminihorserescue.org. Good luck. I have a rescued mare form them and they are a wonderful group to work with. My mare came from Florida to Massachusetts. I hope that helps.
