I have a mini jack Registered with the mini Donk Registry ( Ok, i know nothing about mini donk registration, help here , too would be appreciated). Anyway,. He will be 2 in July, is completely correct, and is only like maybe 26 inches at this point, maybe 27. Is he too small? Is very small desirable? He is just a tiny thing, but, boy, knows he is a man now. Also, He has a donkey in his pedigree from Cape Girardeau. Has anyone heard of this place? Where is it? And last, How do I look for any on his pedigree with any type of championships? Oh, how do you research him?

I am curious if there are any big names in the mini donk world like there are in other equine/

Ok, I know lots of questions, but I just got to wondering about him. He is a red mini Donkey.

Thanks so much,

Alicia

There is a guy that has set up a Donkey Family Tree. Unfortunately, the website was on my notebook computer that fried. I'll get my friend to send it to me. You might do a search for donkey family tree though. You might find it before I get it.

He sounds extremely small. If he is conformationally correct, it shouldn't be an issue. My donk is registered with the Miniature Donkey Registry. There is another registry that is NMDA or something like that. This is a good site to get info on all types of longears. Love Longears

I believe Cape Girardeau is in Indiana. My husband actually spent a week there a long time ago.

I know some of the names that are "big" in donkeys.

minimule, Are you talking about the donkey tree site from Shamrock Farms (Pat Scanlan)?? If you are this is the site www.donkeytree.com Corinne

Yeah, I think that is it. I emailed StarWish but haven't heard back yet. I know they had a lot to do today.

Thanks!

Hello,

The only Cape Girardeau with which I am familiar is in eastern Missouri, just across the river from southwestern Illinois.

It is a lovely old-time riverfront town, yet has fair-to-good shopping facilities.

Hope this helps.
