My sister Marnie (yes the one from this forum) gave me a little filly that has crooked legs. As a special needs baby she needs to be kept rather confined. She also gave each of my granddaughters a little colt of their own. Do I have a special sister or what? I don't know if this is the right forum to post this too but I read it every day and would like to be a part of it. Have much to learn. Bassett. (Bonnie)

Glad you joined the forum Bonnie, I hope you don't mind, I"ll post pictures for you.

First is little Goldie when she was born --

Then when she stood up, her little front leg was crooked. My vet has looked at her several times and swears it'll straighten with time but we have our doubts, she's almost 3 months old and it's still angling out but here's a picture of Bonnies precious little Goldie (who happened to be born on Bonnies birthday)

And here's a picture of Mandy, Bonnies little granddaughter with Stylin Mike

and here's Nikea, her other granddaughter with Taker

I don't think these little horses could ask for a better home, they are already totally loved and spoiled. Again Bonnie, welcome to the forum, there's alot of great people here!

Can I be a sister too?????????? :bgrin

Welcome! From OK (where it's HOT!)

Have you tired a supplement like Rejuvenaid or Foal Aid? That can sometimes make a difference if lax tendons are the cause of the crookedness.

Those little horses look like they found a veeeeery good home!

Gosh, someone just asked me the other day "if" Marnie was my sister!! HMMM! Does that mean she is going to give me a mini?? HA!!

Welcome to the forum ann the wonderful world of miniature horses. Your sister is a good lady and those babies she gave you are beautiful!!

Beautiful babies! The neat thing about minis is that you can give the gift of a smile so easily as Marnie and Lyn have done. What a wonderful thing and welcome to the forum.
