It's coming too fast. I'm just not ready yet! Once Thanksgiving is over, I'll get more focused on Christmas. Trying so hard to make cards, it's all going wrong, shopping not done, barely started. Deocrations outside half done. I'm stressed. Your countdown is freaking me out!

My husband plans to get his tree either this weekend or the next...oh joy a new place for the cats to play

he is mister xmas cheer around here.....if we could afford it he would go all out and get lights to light this place up like a dang chimney fire (ok there is one advantage to being broke

I try hard to not be a total grinch....but I always get depressed at xmas time and missing my family doesn't help......xmas as a kid was the best my grandma did the holidays up huge...and I remember her house and the atmosphere being just like those hallmark commercials....after she died.....well it was the end of an era so to speak

I'm just not ready every year it sedems I'm less and less ready. once upon a time I had every thing bought and wraped before Thanksgiving. But each year I have les money and less time. So sad.

I love the holidays, Yule has always been my favorite.

Good, so only 32 days till I get to go home, and 34 or 35 till I get back to the city afterwards. Christmas just isn't going to be the same this year at all.

By the time I get home all the decoriating will be done, the tree will be up, and I'll have missed out on all the pre-chritmas baking (and food testing!) Not to mention I'll be so rushed trying to see both sets of parents I won't get to relax and enjoy the holidays at all. Croos your fingers and hope work has a change of heart and gives me the week off so I can enjoy Christmas with my Mom

Went with Kathi(wcr) yesterday Christmas shopping......I think we did very well......for ourselves! Didn't get much for anyone else yet! Back to the catalogs!

I just love Christmas! All the beautiful wrapping paper, all the special gifts for loved ones, all the decorating!

Just one thing though, after Christmas is done can we get rid of the snow and cold weather? I'll take 60 degrees January-April!!!

And I might add that Santa really likes us. I got a new stereo and Sandy got a digital movie camera. We were very good girls this year.
