2nd picture taken tonight at 7 pm. Look at the size of my foot compared to her!

attachment-1.jpg

This was taken last week, I'm uploading new one's tonight. You can't really tell in this one, but that's a normal smaller sized feeding dish. She's a reg Nigerian Dwarf, and while normally her name is Villa, currently it's Turnup. :DOH!

Last kidding she had 5 all alive and healthy. Previous to that she had only twins. She's bred to the same buck. Any guesses?? I can't Stand this waiting, these are our first kids to be born on the farm, and I'm not sure who's going to be more relieved, her or me when she finally goes here!!

Thought you all would get a giggle out of her size!

I am also guessing 3. Don't forget to take pictures of the babies. Goats are cute when they are little.

wow, poor girl I would say 4 as well. I have a friend whos had some girls get just about as big and would end up being one kid born. lol You would of thought there was at least 3 in them. But your does belly looks solid. Have you felt the movement.

Still no babies here, she is So un happy.

I'm on goat stare, and it's not as much fun as the mares as I am not totally great on kidding. I'm literally sitting in a corner of my barn with an eye on her. My foaling stall is under construction from lightning damage last month, and she was bought right before it happened, so now her safest place is in my show barn in a 12x14. Roomy eh?

I'm keeping her around close, but this is my first goat "kidding", her third, so I'm much more worried then she is. We've had lots and lots of movement. She's getting annoyed with me always on her side checking. I need to get a video of her running, it makes me cringe and laugh at the same time, but she doesn't seem to mind it oddly enough.

The breeder I bought her from told me the reason her was selling her was that he Had to bottle raise two last time, and he hates to do it. There is a good chance she may continue to have 4 or 5, which is why he sold her. To me, this is perfect, as most of the fun I've ever had was bottle raising our goats.

My boyfriend and all of our friends that are the 'city' type are also excited, as they want to play too!

I will be selling them, at least in theory, but I Know they are going to be so much fun, it's going to hurt. She has brown eyes, but the buck has blue eyes, and they are both spotty, and apparently that's a rather wanted thing. I love the spots, but could care less about the eyes really.

I've already decided to keep one girl from this litter if she has one, as this sire is unrelated to my stock.

I promise Lots and Lots of pictures!

Back to Goat stare!

When is she due?? I have 2 nigerian dwarf goats (wethers) and I have tried to picture her vs them -- looks to me like 4 in there as the 2 sides are balanced --- but then maybe someone is in the middle?

Hope it all goes well for her. Will look for your kidding report post.
