Just like always, I waited until the last minute to get my paper work in. But, I made it to the post office yesterday and got what I wanted sent off. Sure was easier on the pocket book this year, since our directors said that our AMHR horses papers weren't worth much. Saved me a bundle.

I decided to get it done early this year.

Sent paperwork off to AMHR on Dec 2nd and it was back

in my hands on Dec 15th.

Thought that was really good service.

Sent mine in yesterday also. Usually done by Dec 1, but with our dog costing us so much to save, money was short so it had to wait till January funds could be used. Didn't breed any for 2012 so next year will be much cheaper. Nearly every horse born here is double registered so it adds up.

OMG I feel your pain! I sent paper work off months ago only to discover I had two mares needing to be brought up to permanate. Just sent it off yesterday, the cost is awful. No foals for me next year, so don't have to worry about my procrastinating nature. Hate paper work! Now to sell off my AMHR horses next year, maybe no showing, just concentrating on rehoming all of my pets. I might not be able to post this, but I feel like you do.

I got most of ours sent out a few weeks ago but waited till yesterday to send 1 being brought permanent kept waiting to pull hairs for dna but finally said just send it and pull hairs next year

It seemed like alot this year and we had no foals born in 2011

Boy! I almost missed deadlines on my T-Ps! Cut them real close! I just plain forgot. Got the Rs back yesterday so the As should arrive next week....assuming I sent in the correct pictures.

I would NOT have liked to pay the penalty fees on those!

I did my stallion reports about a month ago. I only had 2 temp to perms this year and did them back in the summer. New registrations finished a few months ago. I try to keep up with this stuff so it's not a lot of $$$ all at one time!

Getting ready to do a DNA/PQ and have a couple more to do in the next few months.

Me too! I was at the post office yestarday and said be sure the date I sent this out shows up really good!

I did all my paperwork in November, cost a small fortune with transfers, PQing a stallion, 2 stallion reports with AMHA, bringing one mare permanent with AMHA, memberships for both AMHA and AMHR, etc. I registered all my 2011 foals earlier in the summer. All I have left to do is transfer 2 horses with AMHR and ASPC but I can do that anytime. That will only cost me $60 US which is not to bad. Also have to renew my MHCO memmbership. Will do that the end of this week so that will be done.

Got my paperwork done before Christmas, and I've got to say it is a real headache! You almost have to be an accountant to keep track of which registry wants what. Thank goodness for the computer and AMHA's photo submission form. It makes it so easy to get the photos the right size, and the in the right order.
