I just wanted to take this moment to let everyone know that Area II has lost a great horsemen, Mr.Red Lyme passed away on August 15, 2007. In case anyone wanted to send their condolences we all will truly miss his smile and spirit.

Thank you for letting us know. My sister and I had the pleasure of spending the day at Lyme's farm in Ohio way back in 1986. At the time, they still owned Bar G's Rock.

Red was so welcoming.

I know my family and myself have known the Lyme Family for as long as I can remember I can remember them showing Rock E and Doubletake they were both gorgeous ponies and have went on to do wonderful things. Like I said I feel better having known Red he was a great guy.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who sent cards, phone calls, and sent emails. My grandfather will be truly missed. Growing up I had the chance to lead ponies such as Bar - G's Rock - E, Bar - G's Double Take, Willowlawn's Bobbie Socks, Willowlawn's Pamaret, and the list goes on and on.

I now own my own training stable and carrying on the family tradition to which my grandfather and father have taught me.
