Doc's got a nice sized white patch between his cheek bones, not visible unless he raises his head high or tilts it sideways.. So what pattern is causing it? Will tobiano put a random patch like that there? Or is it sabino? Splash (no blue eyes)? He did test LWO negative so I know it's not frame..

See, it's not visible:

I think he's got some "Sabino" going on. I see some roany areas & Sabino also causes jagged "lacy like" edges to the spots like he has.

I am pretty lost on patterns but my sabino stallion has a white patch there also. I agree, his markings look very roany and jagged, looks sabino to me

I am very interested in this also as my mare Prism has the same thing going on. She also tested negative for LWO. Her dam is mostly white with some flecking on her body similar to the flecking on Prisms butt and shoulder. Her dam also has a solid patch on her head over her ears and eyes (one blue eye) and a small chest plate that is more up her neck than on her lower chest. Sire is black with one blue eye and no face white. No roaning from what I can tell but he does have a stocking and a sock that look like they may be a bit on the jagged side if that makes any sense what so ever...

Thanks!! Knew it had to be something other than the toby, just wasn't sure which one!
