Looking for some first hand experiences with it. I had better luck with the extra strength. I'm doing some googling on it.

We've always used just the regular human pepto........when we've used it. We also have the horse version in a paste.

The horse brand is BismuKote By Vedco. I use both. But I usually use human regular strength. Lorie

i've been using the human, regular strength, chewable tablets. i was crushing them up like powder and mixing them in red's sweet feed but he only gets a tablespoon of feed compared to the other guys and he only gets that because he thinks he has to have SOMEthing in his bucket. i wasn't sure he would eat it with the pepto in it. because i was giving it to him a couple of times a day for about 3 days, i tried just putting a tablet in my hand to see if he'd take it. they're cherry-flavored and he LOVES them! no more crushing. :aktion033:

i am thoroughly convinced now that the diarrhea and colic was caused by him eating acorns. now that i am picking up as many as i can find as often as i can, he has had very little trouble with loose poop. YAYY!!!

Bismuth subsalicylate, magnesium aluminum silicate, xanthan, benzoic acid, sorbic acid, sucrose, apple flavor, artificial colors, salicylic acid, sodium salicylate, sodium saccharine.

GUYS this is ALMOST funny. That bolded ingredient is CLAY aka Bentonite/Montmorillonite

Pepto is the ONLY thing that stopped the projectile poop tweet had, now I know why kaopectate change from kaolin to bentonite its MUCH stronger CLAY!

I use the human regular version of Pepto and a sringe. Put right in the little guys mouth slowly.
