I've never figured out how to save pics in an email from someone on AOL. Does anybody know how? Got a picture today that I would love to keep!

Forward the email to yourself (with the pic in it) and then when it comes back, right click and save.

It works for me

Right Click on the Picture and the Prompt will come up "Safe Picture As". And Save it on your desk top or put it in a folder that is marked pictures. You can even use that right click to Put That Picture as a Background pic (wallpaper). You can do all sorts of neat things will a Right Click on pictures or anything like that. UNLESS the Right Click has been Stopped when making a web site. But being this was in an E Mail I am sure The "Right Click" works just fine.

Thanks for the response. Robin, the picture only comes up as a red X when I forward it.

shminifancier - you can't right click and 'save as' a picture that is imbedded in an aol sender email. Have tried that many times and it has some weird code that won't save the picture.

However, after a lot of trial and error, I was able to save the entire email in 'my pictures' and saved the picture that way!

Becky if you are using Outlook express when you forward the e mail to yourself before sending go to the tab on the top of the e mail and click on "Format" It will give you a pull down menu at the bottom of the options on that pull down menu it will say send picture with e mail or something. Click on that it will send embedded photos.

I've still yet to figure that out, as I have AOL, and transfering pictures between my aunts computer and mine is a total nightmare.
