Lisa has been on to read your posts and is so appreciative of all your support and prayers. This ordeal has been devastating for her as she has now lost her mare, Emma, in addition to her two stallions. She is barely holding things together.

It is just a horrific thing to think about let alone experience. These dogs were so mean that they went through barbed wire, an electric fence and then ran the horses through a panel gate and broke it down.

I feel so bad for her horses. I am so sorry Lisa.

They should really do something to the dog owners also. I'm so sorry Lisa. That is terrible and no one should have to deal with such tragedy in their lives. Glad to hear you got one dog and know who owns another one. Hope you can find the owner of the one you shot.

Unbelievable! How devastating.... I would so find out who owned those dogs and rip their owners a new rear end! I'd get a consultation with a lawyer and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Lisa, I'm so sorry for you and your horses. Nothing will bring your beautiful horses back, but you must get justice for them, and make sure this never happens again to you or to anybody else. I wish I could comfort you in some way, but I know thats impossible. I absolutely can't imagine your sorrow. I'm praying for you and hoping that you can somehow come back from this and live in peace and harmony with your minis. Tons of prayers for you....

I had hoped the mare would recover. I'm sorry. I still say, find the dogs and have them destroyed (they have had 'fun' and will be back for more, and make the dog owners take responsibility for their lack of supervision. Good grief, no wonder so many places are trying to pass laws banning the bigger dogs.

I am so sorry to hear about your stallions and now your mare. I hope you called the law and they made a report and hope even more the owners of the dogs are identified. Of course now will be a conventient time for them to forget all about their dogs to avoid trouble...........I am sending prayers from North Georgia and the Tiny Mite Crew.
