Hey Y'all.

Its been a while since I posted on here. I really miss it but get so busy with work and stuff I never post on here anymore.

I was wondering for all those around the Austin all along the east side of Texas could give me some web-sites of were you can look at things for sale. Like a newspaper type web-site that has classified. I want to look at land and houses/condos forsale around Austin or Dallas. I have only one more year of highschool left then Im moving to Texas! Im sooo excited to meet y'all and Im so excited to be out of snow!

Also if you know of anything about the recording conseveratory of Austin Id love to hear your opinion on going to school there. I want to go to a school to become a music produce so if you know of any places in Texas that would also be a good place to look at please let me know!

Thanks,

Gage

Hi Gage,

Austin is about two hours from me. I've been there a few times years ago but I don't know enough about it to be any help to you, sorry.

You can do a google-Texas newspapers-and then click on whatever city newspaper that you wish to read online.

I would go to realtor.com or yahoo real estate and put in the city or zip code, qualities you want in the proeprty, type of house, square footage, acreage, price etc and see what comes up.....also the big national frachises have sites where you can search the multiple listing service for properties. Good Luck.

Hello, I have the absolute best realtor that anyone can ask for! She actually listens to what your wants and needs are and works very hard to find you what would be perfect for you!!! If you would like her name and number please PM me and I’ll send it to you. She covers East Texas but she said that she would show me ANYTHING in TX that I wanted. We finally found our perfect house in Quitman. Take care and good luck in your search. Stacie

Hi Gage!

Nice to see you around again! You'll love Texas. We're in north Texas so we can't help you out with information aroudn Austin, but good luck!

Whatever you do, look into the drilling plans for the area you want. We added a 40x60 nice shop, and our place still isnt worth what it was 5 years ago because of the drilling. Not to mention the roads being torn up, extra traffic and noise. We are rural but it sounds like we are in Pasadena.

www.statesman.com is the Austin newspaper, but I'd sure look on craigslist too. Austin definitely has a music scene and it's a great place to live, but you might look into North Texas University in Denton, just north side of Dallas. They have a wonderful music/fine arts program that is very well respected, and as an added bonus, the area north of Dallas/Ft Worth up into OK happens to be deep in horse farms LOL. Dallas Morning News is the Dallas paper, Star Telegram is Ft Worth's paper. If you decide to come check Austin out, let me know - I'm 25 minutes north of Austin. I grew up in Dallas and moved to Austin, so I'm pretty familiar with both. Good luck with your search,

Jan
