Question for you Aussies

This is probablya really dumb question but when do you guys have xmas?

Christmas is the same time of year for everyone. It's just in the Southern hemisphere, their Christmas is in the middle of the summer. When we go to Africa, we are there in June and July (usually) and it is the middle of winter.

It's just the weather that is different, not the calendar.

Mind you I don't suppose it is too cold in California, is it??

Christmas is funny downunder... decorations are still all about snow, snowmen, sleighs etc, but a good percentage spend the holidays having BBQs in the hot sun on a beach!

Were you one of the "lucky ones there to get snow? One of my group is stationed there now and got snow . He was not a happy camper, thought he left that all behind him here.
