Hello!

I was a huge follower of the forums many years ago and am very eager to get back to it! It was always such a great place to learn and interact with other miniature horse lovers and find horses and tack for sale!

A little about me - I am in Nebraska and have been raising miniature horses and shetland ponies since 2006. I generally have 4-6 foals per year. I enjoy showing ASPC, AMHR and PtHA. I love going to Congress and/or Nationals. We just had a little boy in June so after not getting to show much the last two years I am very eager to get back in the ring in 2025. I have a few ponies that have been trained to drive and am hoping to start a few myself between this winter and next spring weather pending.

I look forward to following along with everyone, learning, and maybe offering advise from time to time as well!

Glad to have you back! Yes, I remember the challenge of getting back into showing with a young one. My respect to all the moms who make it work. It's not easy.

I'm going to purchase a young pinto for my daughter as a resale project. She's 15, so something to spend a couple of summers with, train, get driving, show in hand, etc and sell before she heads to college. I want to buy a pinto specifically because we can hardship register based on the colour alone. So many little animals do not get registered here. I like papers as often as I can get them and it's very inexpensive to register them with the Canadian registry.
