Going on the thoughts of a good stallion makes a great gelding, Mr. Romeo had an appointment with the vet this afternoon.

Once healed I hope to get him trained for combined driving and other performance "jobs".

I am sure once the initial indignation wears off ( and the prescribed 60 days have passed) he will be a happy boy being allowed to live with the girls.

Congratulations, what a great decision you make. And he will be happier.

Wow he looks great. How did you get that little extra weight off of him?

He is going to be an awesome driving horse . Wish I had time to do CDE.

Good decision on the gelding. mary f

We put him ( and Dreamie) on Purina Wellsolve weight control plus remission for about 6 months (both were about 200 lbs overweight). I honestly never thought I would be able to get the weight and the huge crest off of them but the feeding program worked. Both are now on Strategy.

The photo in the above post is what he looked like with no conditioning or sweating. I can't imagine how good he will look once we start conditioning him next spring.
