Round Bales...How long do they last?

Thanks for all the info. I think I'll have to weigh my bales to get a better handle on all these figures. My new question.....Are the round bale hay nets safe? Has anyone had minis get caught in them? Anyone have links to the best kind for minis?

I have only tried the Cinch Chix Slow Feed Round Bale Net. VERY safe in my opinion. The openings I believe are only 1.25" big and therefore no one can get a foot in it no matter how hard some may try. I would not use one of these for a horse with shoes and I probably would not use for the tiny foals with little hoves, just in case.
