My mom took these while I was at school.

- We have a doe and her two kids who come arround my house about everyday and sometimes theres another adult with them. I went out in the woods behind my house while the kids were 'exploring; in the pond and when I went back i looked up and the mother was right infront of me, about 30 feet away. He was so calm that she actually pit her head down and started eating. I was so suprised! These are some pics of the kids in our front yard, there not that good.

Monday my dog started barking at something in the woods and my mom went to look and this is what she found:

I was so suprised! This was at 2 in the afternoon and he stayed there for an hour, on that little branch with such a big butt! He's adorible though. The only time I have ever seen then is in the middle of the night when I can hear them in the trash cans (room right next to drive way). Were thinking that he was one of the babies we saw a couple of years ago.

Thanks for letting me share!

That second picture is great! And those raccoon pictures remind me so much of Charlie the Coon, a baby we had years ago. They're cute as can be.

These are neat, I like the last one of the coon the best.

The animal control was here his morning, the racoon was back. He was right next to our paddock fence and Two Sox was just staring right at him. My mom shook the shavings bag (she was in the paddock) and he just stood there and my dad threw rocks at him (NOT hard) and he didn't move so we called animal control.

Theres a trap out there for him now and the boys are locked in the barn. Hes definatly not a normal racoon. Has anyone else had a problem like this with wild animals?

Here in Massachusetts the coon population has been hard hit by rabies. They seem to be making a be making a come back. Stay far away from any coon that is not acting normally.

A few years ago we had a rabid coon shot in the field. Even though all the houses were up to date on their shots we had to give another rabies booster.

This morning he was across the street walking around our friends yard. The animal control came and she called him and he came running over. I wonder if he was fed by people or was someones pet .Shes going to release him in some woods far away from here. So he's gone and don't have to worry about him anymore. *sigh of reliefe (sp)* and i had to put the horses to bed tonight. : P

I was thinking he was probably someone's pet. It seems a shame to release him again into the wild. Obviously, he is not going to stay there. I wonder if there is a wildlife hotline in your area? Perhaps there is some program available for animals like that.
