Everyone but Tucker, who wanted to bite my boots rather than be in the photo.

Here he is... always coming towards me.

Tucker walked up the wheelchair ramp into the van on his first try.

Chloe's the color of winter, Rosie's fall.

Tucked in tonight. So cozy.

Center aisle, walked so many times a day. It's narrow, but I can open stall gates and everyone goes where they're supposed to.

Chloe's suite. We're walking a bit and working on that baby belly.

Tell me Karla, do the horses really go into their own stall on their own? That's so cute that they know where their own bed is.

They all look very healthy, happy and loved. I always enjoy your pics.

Well--kind of. They know where they go--but I open one stall at a time. Usually Gypsy goes in first--so I open her aisle gate--then close it. Jazz is next--he can open all stall gates if they're not locked.

Then Whisper and Rosie go into theirs, and Chloe into hers... then the foals have a big stall to themselves, but their stall gate is secured open so they can wander around the inside area. The sliding door is shut every night.

Last month I changed everyone's stalls--and it was a fiasco for a few days until everyone settled in again.

I didn't make the decision lightly; the mares have been in the same stalls for 6 years. But. I wanted to give the biggest stalls to Whisper and Rosie, and Tucker and Mazie since the foals are separated at night now. I think everyone likes their new stalls... I'm just wondering if Chloe likes hers. She's so quiet and never complains much. She has whinnied more than ever before in the past few months... I wonder why.

Someone on the quilting forum said Tucker looks like Rod Stewart... now I can't stop thinking that when I see him.

It never fails to amaze me how much joy my horses add to my days. I appreciate the opportunity to have this many--even if it's for a short while. Eventually, I will have 4-5, but that may take years.
